TripLens (“TripLens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an AI-powered trip planning app that helps users compare trip ideas, choose realistic routes, and create map-aware itineraries.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use TripLens:

• Account information: If you sign in, we may collect identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, authentication provider, and user ID.
• Trip planning information: We collect the travel details you provide, such as origin city, destinations under consideration, travel dates, traveler count, budget, pace, preferences, saved trips, itinerary edits, and related planning inputs.
• Saved itinerary information: If you save a trip, we store your itinerary, route choices, trip preferences, generated planning content, place references, and related metadata so you can access your plans across devices.
• Purchase and subscription information: We use Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to manage purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, trip credits, and restore purchases. We do not directly receive or store your full payment card details.
• Device and usage information: We may collect technical information such as app version, device type, operating system, crash information, diagnostics, and service status logs to improve reliability and support the app.
• Location and place information: TripLens primarily uses locations that you enter or select. If the app requests device location in the future, we will ask for permission before accessing it.

How We Use Information

• Provide trip comparison, route planning, and itinerary generation.
• Save and sync trips across devices.
• Personalize trip recommendations based on your preferences.
• Fetch real place, route, timing, photo, and map information.
• Process purchases, subscriptions, trip credits, and access rights.
• Improve app reliability, security, and performance.
• Prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized use of the service.
• Provide customer support.
• Comply with legal obligations.

AI and Map Services

TripLens uses AI and map-related services to generate and improve travel plans. Your trip inputs may be processed by our backend and by service providers such as Google Cloud, Google Gemini, Google Maps Platform, Firebase, and related infrastructure providers.

AI-generated travel information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. You should independently verify important travel details, including opening hours, transit schedules, visa requirements, safety conditions, prices, bookings, and accessibility before relying on an itinerary.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate TripLens, including:

• Firebase / Google Cloud for authentication, database, backend hosting, and infrastructure.
• Google Maps Platform for places, routes, travel times, and map-related data.
• Google Gemini or related AI services for itinerary generation and trip-planning assistance.
• RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management.
• Apple for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and Sign in with Apple.
• Google Sign-In if you choose to sign in with Google.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

• With service providers that help operate TripLens.
• When needed to process purchases or verify subscription access.
• When required by law, legal process, or government request.
• To protect the rights, safety, and security of TripLens, users, or others.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide TripLens, maintain saved trips, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and improve app reliability.

You may delete your account from within the app. When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment, or legitimate business reasons.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or request a copy of your data. You can manage account deletion in the app or contact us at contact@coheronlab.com.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripLens is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for losses, damages, missed bookings, travel disruptions, inaccurate third-party information, or decisions made based on AI-generated or map-based suggestions.
